Bad joke

Aaannnnndddddd, we're off! Though it did start like a joke: Four anesthesiologists and an orthopedist walk into a bar...

Mom has just been wheeled in for surgery and was superbrave in her send-off. Hopefully she will be out by 3pm. More once she's out.

Pam and her Family,
I'm posting this comment from a hotel in Chicago. I'm the Social Chair for the Concert Choir, and just wanted to let Pam know, though we miss her dearly, that we are having a blast and things are running smoothly. We sang beautifully this morning at a church service and were well recieved. The priest asked to make sure we contact them in four years because he wants us to come back. Also, the weather today was beautiful, 65 and sunny, perfect for sightseeing. We all send our love back to Nashville and know that you are in our prayers.

Choir Love,

David Sims

At Jacqui's request, I am posting this comment to let everyone know that the surgery went well! Pam is awake and is with her family. Since they will likely be taking shifts tonight at Pam's bedside, Jacqui may not have an opportunity to post an update until tomorrow (Monday) sometime. But she wanted everyone to know the good news and to thank everyone for your wonderful prayers and good wishes. Pam has yet again proven that she is indeed a SUPERSTAR!

We are so glad to hear the surgery went well! And to see those beautiful blue eyes sparkle as you went on your stroll yesterday! I am glad you have felt some fresh air and sunshine on your face. I knew once the doctors really started seeing your rehab start that their response would be "how strong you are!" Keep up the good work team! We love you all and Let us know of anything you need. 343-2263 work, 977-1032 cell.
