A note of thanks and appreciation

Dear friends,

After a long night, I am emerging into the day. There are no words for this experience. My understanding of it is still vague at best, but it has changed my life. Your care, thoughts, kindnesses and thoughtfulness have blessed every one of my days.

As I continue to get well, it will be a long time before I can personally express to each of you my gratitude and appreciation. Please have patience with me and know that my thoughts are there with you. A brian injury robs one of energy, of emotional and physical energy, and makes one more tired than you can imagine. But this will pass. And I am confident, with my fabulous doctors and family, that some day I truly will be back to normal. Thank you.

With profound appreciation and love,

Pam

She has done so many things for you and your care that you are probably not even aware of, but without Jacqui -- I hate to think. Pam-
What a blessing to hear from you!

You are right to be confident! We all knew that if anyone has the spirit and will to triumph over this, it is you.

It is not hard to see where Jacqui gets her obvious strength- your strong family and loving friends are a powerful testament to you.

God bless you and your family as you continue your hard work.
Much love to you-

I am overjoyed to be hearing from you. I never had a doubt that you would make a full recovery! I know by the fall you will be back in full swing again. I don't believe anything can stop you now.

Also please tell your daughter that she is a wonderful writer! I have really enjoyed reading her blog entries.

Take care and now that you are never far from my thoughts or prayers.

Love to all the Schneller Team!

It was so exciting to read a note directly from you. You look and sound truly wonderful. In some ways it is not a surprise to us that you are as remarkable in your progress as you have been in all else in life, but it sure is heartening for us to watch you go. We're thinking about you every day and are so happy you are doing so fabulously. We love you. Keep on charging ahead!

"O, frabjous day, callou, callay"...apologies to Lewis Carroll...it is really you! I have missed those e-mails that would cajole and encourage and sweetly berate us after a particularly good/rough rehearsal.I suppose we should expect them to return anytime now!All I have to do is leave town and you start leaping and bounding toward the finish line. Maybe I could talk my husband into taking me to Paris which would ensure your rapid and total recovery...naaaaah. Cheapskate Charlie would never go for it.

Really, Pam, you are amazing and truly our inspiration. Your "spirit sings all day" for us, and every measure that we rehearse is our promise to you that VCC rocks!!

Not too long ago, I kept hearing, "give yourself time...it will get better" as I worked through two + years of anxiety and worry. I was very skeptical. Singing for you kept me sane...and some good doctors and some meds helped me through it, but it does take time, and those of us who are short on patience do not make good patients, ha, ha. Your continued progress is ALL the thanks any or us need. You and Team Schneller have done the hard work. We love you...Jan (N)
